VP4MX roller fairlead for ATV winches

The roller fairlead is designed primarily for ATV snowplow use. With a standard fairlead, the winch rope runs downward from the fairlead at a very steep angle when operating a snowplow. This increases friction and rope wear and may cause premature failure of the winch rope.

The added roller guides the winch rope downward more smoothly and reduces the sharp bend angle of the rope. This helps reduce winch rope wear during repeated lifting and lowering of the snowplow.

The roller assembly is removable. When the snowplow is not in use, the roller assembly, secured with four bolts, can be removed and the fairlead can be used as a standard winch fairlead.

One fairlead, two ways to use it.

Materials:

Fairlead and roller brackets: AW6082 aluminium
Roller: PE300 plastic
Bolts and screws: zinc plated steel

Recommended tightening torque for the fairlead mounting bolts is 8–10 Nm. Do not overtighten.

If the roller is not used for an extended period, it is recommended to install the supplied screws in the roller bracket mounting holes to prevent dirt from entering the threaded holes. Recommended tightening torque for these screws is 2 Nm. Do not overtighten.
